Jeffrey S. Wasserman Esq.

Jeffrey S. Wasserman is married for 37 years and raised three grown children. He attended CUNY at Queens College obtaining a B.A. degree in Comparative Literature in 1975. In 1979 he graduated from Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles with a J.D. in law. He is admitted to practice law in California and New York. During law school he worked for the Los Angeles Public Defender Office assisting in death penalty cases.

Upon graduation he returned to New York and began working for the law office of Richard Hartman in the litigation department defending NYC police officers and NYC correction officer in high profile criminal and disciplinary cases. He also appeared in both Federal and State courts in various litigation representing municipal employees.

Thereafter he formed his own law office. He has been in private practice since 1985. In private practice he represented injured parties trying numerous cases to verdict with several million dollar awards and/or settlements. He represented numerous accident victim in engaged in civil practice in personal injury. In January 2020 he joined Rosner, Russo & Shahabian as a senior trial attorney.

He was also a guest lecturer at the New York State Bar association annual convention speaking on municipal employees issues.
